Economic Cooperation
The economic relationship between Bahrain and India is robust, with bilateral trade reaching USD 1.64 billion in 2024-25. Both nations are currently negotiating a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and a Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) to facilitate trade and investment. The discussions also include a Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) to eliminate tax overlaps and promote business expansion.
